Monday, April 1st

  • 1st - Dance
  • 2nd/3rd/4th
    • Math Block
      • We went over homework and then students did the "SHOW WHAT YOU KNOW" to see what they remember about upcoming unit (Area and Perimeter).  We went over the vocabulary and questions from the show what you know.
      • VISION SCREENING at 9:30
      • Lesson 13.1 - Perimeter of a Rectangle.   We went over two methods... adding all the sides or using the formula 2 x l plus 2 x w to get perimeter.  It is very importnat that you also include the measuring unit as well.
      • A lot of students had to redo the exemplar summative tasks because they simply didn't read the questions well enough. After reading each question again, students reworked the tasks.
  • 4th/5th -
    • ELA Block
      • Johnny Tremain (Section 1, chapters 4, 5, and 6).
      • We reviewed the first three chapters of Johnny Tremain and then listened to chapters 4-6 and then answered comprehension questions that went with the reading.
    • Test Prep
      • We did several sections of the test prep book practicing for tomorrow's STATE TEST!
