Short Week - But a Busy Week!


  • Monday, May 28th:
    • No School in observance of Memorial Day!
  • Tuesday, May 29th:
    • Today we will be reading chapters 18 and 19 in George's Secret Key to the Universe with a focus on:
      •  I can quote accurately from a text when explaining what the text says explicitly and when drawing inferences from the text. RL.5.1
      • I can use narrative techniques, such as pacing, to develop experiences and events or show the responses of characters to situations. W.5.3.b
  • Wednesday, May 30th:
    • Day 1 of Math MOSL Constructed Response
      • 501 will be taking the Math MOSL  and 502 will be taking their STAR Reading Test and watching "Before the Flood" about Climate Change which extends our class novel theme.
  • Thursday, May 31st:
    • Day 2 of Math  MOSL Constructed Response
      • 502 will be taking Math MOSL with me and class 501 will taking their STAR Reading Test and watching "Before the Flood" about Climate Change which extends our class novel theme.
  • Friday, June 1st:
    • Pure Food Cooking Challenge Class (8:30AM  - 11:00AM), hosted by The Beecher's Foundation.  If you want a copy of the CHILI RECIPE we used today, just click the link!
    • Make Up (MOSL, STAR, BlackLine Masters)
    • Character Con in Auditorium (1:30 to end of day!)
