Tuesday ELA

Can definitely tell it was a rainy day.  Kids always seem to act up a little when it is a rainy day!   Good news - Mr. Hernandez approved a trip for Wednesday, November 23rd! I will be buying tickets Tuesday night after school so money is due by Tuesday, November 22nd!!!

Today our focus was using text evidence to answer questions.   We read Chapter 5 - Roast Mice for Twelve.  We took turns reading the chapter together and then went over the discussion questions.  Then we went over some craft and structure elements before students worked on their independent practice for the lesson.  We ended talking more about present perfect tense and homework was passed out. I also passed out scholastic book orders which are due on Wednesday, November 23rd as well.
