- In class 502 we read the pages and discussed them together.
- In 501, students read silently because the class wouldn't stop having side conversations when we were trying to read. They lost the benefit of discussion because they couldn't control their talking.
Afterward students worked in pairs to answer comprehension questions about pages 4-11, and then talk about the text features the text had and what their job was.
