Friday, March 29th

  • 1st / 2nd / 3rd- Math Block
    • We started the day with breakfast in the classroom and we watched another episode of LIBERTY KIDS.   These videos go with not just our American History unit in reading and writing, but what we are studying in SS too!
    • Afterwards, we had a review and retest kinda day.  After collecting homework we did the FRIZ #17.  Then we went over yesterdays Chapter 11 Unit Test to look and see what we understood and what we didn't.  After reviewing the questions and checking for understanding - students took the Chapter 11 FORM B test with only 12 questions.  Almost all students showed improvement.
    • Students worked on reviewing adding angles, estimating angles, and measuring angles for their skill review period.
  • 3rd / 4th  - Room Prep - Portfolio Time
    • We took some time to pass out a ton of papers that needed to go in portfolios and then file them.  We also started covering up all the walls to get ready for ELA STATE TEST next Tuesday and Wednesday!
    • Students who were finished could read from their independent books, their American History Mini-Books, or work on the math triangle puzzle I passed out.
  • 5th - Social Studies
    • Chapter 5 - Lesson 2
      • We finished reading Chapter 5 as a class.  Then students worked independently to answer a short comprehension section on what they had just read.
  • 6th - Lunch
  • 7th - PE with Mr. Hoffman
Homework:
  • Math 2 Sided Paper - Missing Angles and Additive Angles
  • SS - Chapter 5 Take  Home Math Test
  • Reading - Causes of the American Revolution
