  • 1st - Dance
  • 2nd - Reading
    • Session 17 - Looking for Big Ideas that are repeated in the book as a way to see what the author thinks is important or wants you to learn.  
  • 3rd/4th - Writing
    • Session 17 - Drafting our compare and contrast essays using the character Rob The Tiger Rising and the character Andrew from Fly Away.   Students used their T-Chart to come up with their draft.

        • What you will be discussing (alike and different)
      • Body 1 - Alike
      • Body 2 - Different
      • Conclusion
        • restate what you are proving
        • give some examples
        • leave reader with something to think about
  • 4th / 5th - Math
    • Review of lesson 10.1 and 10.3 on lines and angles.  Then we moved and did types of triangles in lesson 10.2. We ended with Test Prep.
  • 6th - Lunch
  • 7th - Social Studies
    • We watched a video on early settlers of America.

  • ELA - Page 1 - Drawing Conclusions
  • Reading - 45 minutes of Independent Reading - Log and Journal Entry
  • Writing - Finish compare contrast draft
