Tuesday, March 12th

  • 1st - Music
  • 2nd - Reading
    • Today our focus on reading in session 18 was realizing that all the books we read become a part of us.  The books we choose say things about us.  Our reading log and the choices we make say things about us.  We took a look at our favorite books, favorite characters, favorite stories... and thought about what they say about us.  Then students created book marks that show what they are based on their reading (A self portrait trough reading!)
  • 3rd - Writing
    • Students did lesson 18 today, focusing on ways to expand and enhance their compare and contrast essay.  Then they broke into groups.  Today I let them pick their partners who would best help them review their writing, give them feedback, and help them to expand their thinking and writing.
