• Guided Reading Activity - The text was read together, and then students worked independently to complete the seven close reading questions that deal with summarizing and using details from the text.
• MATH MOSL - Students worked on their Measure of Student Learning for the second day.  This test shows where the students start fourth grade in Math.  There will be another test in May to see how much they have grown in math over the year.
• ART with Ms. Arbello
• STAR MATH test on the computer - Students will test their level in math to see how much they have improved since we tested in early September.
• Reading Assessment - As we end our first unit in reading, it is now time to think about assessment.  Students will read a text on their own, then answer four short response questions to see how much they are using the strategies and skills we worked on over the past 18 lessons. 
• Lunch
• Science - Students read an article about classifying animals and plants and then worked on comprehension questions on the article.

Homework

• No Math due to MOSL test (no math lesson today)
• ELA - ELA Packet Page 3
• Reading - Reading Log - Need to take and AR test this week!
• Writing - revisit my draft to see if I can make more revisions before publishing.
